Stand with Hong Kong!
We are excited to release the protest art by Boms, in support of the social movement in Hong Kong. No matter where you are, are you ready to join us using art to show solidarity?
While there will be a number of posters printed and be available to be picked up in London and Amsterdam from next week, you can always print it yourself with the files below, available in 3 sizes. Our volunteers will take a few guerilla actions and start filling up different parts in Hong Kong, London and Amsterdam with the posters as well.
If you are joining us in the guerilla action, do take pictures and post them on social media with the hashtag #Art4HK.
About the project:
In collaboration with Hong Kong-based street artist Boms, we will start a series of guerrilla action with his protest art, posters, in Hong Kong, London, Amsterdam and anywhere else you would like to take it to!
Starting this week, we will start filling up different parts of the cities with Boms’s works. His protest art will also be available to download, so you can do it yourself and be a part of the voice anywhere to support the social movement in Hong Kong.
Boms is a street artist, graffiti writer, and ‘bboy’ based in Hong Kong. His early creation focused on acrylic and canvas painting, until his interest started to grow on street dancing in 2008 and became deeply influenced by hip-hop culture. He devoted himself to mural creation since he had his first taste of graffiti in 2014. Hong Kong local stories are a common theme among his creations. By transforming feelings and emotions into imaginary characters and words, each character that drops from his brush is no less a human than anyone of us.
